History and Evolution of Cache

We also released a detailed article covering the history of the Cache map – from removing it from the competitive pool of cards on March 29, 2019 and replacing Vertigo to its limited return in October. After the launch of the CS2, the creator of the FMPONE card completely rebuilt Cache from scratch – now it is available in the workshop.

The new version has Soviet industrial aesthetics: brick buildings, rusty containers and an atmosphere resembling Chernobyl. The interiors became more exciting, with laxed walls, old furniture and stained glass windows. Textures and lighting are greatly improved. The full article can be read by the link.
